Registration Open for Youth Flag Football League

Registration is now open for the Union Grove Rec Youth Outdoor Co-Ed Flag Football League.

The program offers youth ages 4 through 13 an opportunity to learn football fundamentals, build skills, and participate in organized team play in a positive and supportive environment. The league focuses on skill development, technique, game understanding, situational play, and the fundamentals of football.

Practices will be held once per week for approximately one hour, with games taking place on Saturdays and lasting about one hour. All practices and games will be held at Leider Park, located at High Street and 8th Avenue in Union Grove.

The season runs from July 18 through August 22.

Volunteer coaches will lead teams and help players develop their skills while emphasizing sportsmanship and teamwork. Team shirts, footballs, and flags are provided. Participants are required to wear plastic cleats. Metal cleats are not permitted.

Program fees are $65 for Village residents and $85 for non-residents.
