S. Colony Ave. Resurfacing Project
A Wisconsin Department of Transportation resurfacing project on S. Colony Avenue (US 45) began on June 1. The project extends from 7th Avenue to Highway 20 and consists of milling and overlaying the existing roadway surface.
Construction is expected to take approximately four days, weather permitting. During this time, motorists should expect traffic impacts and follow all posted detour routes and signage. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time, and use alternate routes when possible.
Residents and businesses within the project area will continue to have access during construction, although temporary traffic pattern changes may occur as work progresses.
The Village encourages motorists to use caution in the work zone, watch for construction workers and equipment, and continue supporting local businesses throughout the duration of the project.
For project updates, schedules, and additional information, please visit the WisDOT project website.
