The Village of Union Grove is excited to announce the expansion of its recreation programming with two new martial arts classes through Narrowpath Martial Arts. At its January 27th meeting, the Village Board approved the addition of Intro to Karate (ages 4-7) and Tai Chi (ages 13+), offering more opportunities for residents to engage in fitness and personal development.

The Union Grove Youth Baseball Association (UGYBA) is now offering T-Ball and Coach Pitch programs, ensuring young athletes in our community continue to have fun and engaging opportunities to play. These programs, previously managed by the Village, have transitioned to UGYBA, which is dedicated to providing a great experience for players and families alike.

The westbound lane of Highway 11 at the Vine St. intersection will be closed to traffic from 7am to 6pm on Wednesday, April 17th for watermain repair work. 

The Village of Union Grove sewer system had an overflow event at the intersection of Milldrum and 18^th Ave from approximately 7:00 p.m. on April 5^th to 1:00 p.m. on April 6^th.

The new 5-year permit that allows Union Grove to discharge treated wastewater effluent into the West Branch of the Root River Canal has a chloride discharge limit. Our current wastewater plant does not remove chlorides and the cost to install additional equipment that may remove some of the chloride is complicated and cost prohibitive at this time.
